What are my chances of getting into the University of West Georgia ?
What are my chances of getting in? I am Black. I am a girl. I have a 2.9 GPA. I’ve never taken AP courses. But I have over 130 hours in volunteering hours. I’ve been in Four clubs. And also ran one year of cross country. I am also co editor and chief of my school lit magazine. I got a combined score of 1290 on my SATs and I am taking them again.

don’t worry about, with achievements like that you shouldn’t be worried about not getting accepted into west georgia. now that the SAT score is out of 2400, getting an 1800 would be considered high, even says it on the school website. the average student in west georgia has a 2.4 gpa with about a 1650-1700 SAT score. now that doesn’t mean that you have to meet those exact requirements, it also means that students have scored a lot lower (remember, it’s just an average). if i were you, i wouldn’t worry. getting into west georgia is probably the easiest thing to do, they basically accept everyone!
