Need to know name of vintage dress style so I may find a picture or pattern…HELP please?
In Christina Aguilera’s music video “Candyman” she wears a light pink dress while dancing with the sailors. It is kinda short with 3/4 length sleeves. I understand she may have shortened her version, but I need to know what style of dress that is, what is the style called? I need to find a good picture or pattern for that style of dress because I am needed to dress in that fashion for an upcoming school performance and was wanting to make a dress like that in a different color for the performance. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I looked at that video on Youtube. The era was World War II, 1940s .
If you do a search on google IMAGES for 1940s dresses+skirts you will most likely find several shops or experts who will possibly show this style dress.
Her dress is a knit fabric with a circle skirt and fitted sweater like top.
