Halloween Costume Ideas 2011 – Be An Egyptian Pharaoh At The Costume Party

And these tales from antiquity have inspired great costume ideas. The first to think about is the mummy costume. This is basically loads of linen wrapped around you. One or two slits for the eyes and an air hole for the mouth and you are good to go. More elaborate mummy style outfits turn the look into a modern dress – rather like Cleo De Nile from Monster High fame.
Or you could possibly go as an item in Antony and Cleopatra outfits. You can get numerous variations on the Cleopatra costume. A few are quite simple with a plain white dress and a few Egyptian looking accessories, whilst others are extremely elaborate and include a wig and makeup. Antony does not get quite as much attention, he’s merely a sword and sandals type look.
The last outfit, and probably the most well-liked is the Pharaoh costume. This can also be a white or black full length tunic with an elaborate Egyptian style head piece. This genuinely stands out and makes an incredible impression at a party as it’s pretty original.
