The photo contest rules say “matted, NO FRAMES and ready to hang with a wire.” How do I do that?
Do I leave the plastic on the mat? What kind of glue? Do you glue the mat face and backing together?
You can find stick-on tabs that have a metal reinforced hole in them. Stick two to the back of the mat – one on each side – and then you have a place to string your wire. Personally, I’d add all kinds of tape to the hanger things, as the glue can give way, especially if it’s humid.
