why would a Christian from the north say stuff like this and christians from the south say the opposite?

You’re looking at things from a few perspectives. I am from the south and I have never said… shoot on site. That is murder. However I have heard someone from California say that on a forum. So please do not judge people from the south. This is the new South and there are lots of yanks living down here now. There are prejudices in all states and in all people. Think it through and don’t waste your time on people that say cruel things.. be they from the north or the south.
