how can i get a certified death certificate to file insurance claim?
I am beneficiary of employee life ins. on recently deceased relative but need to furnish certificate w/cause of death. the company cannot tell me how to obtain this info. i’m in the west and they’re on the east coast. I have called the probate lawyer w/o success.
Go online to the state in which the certificate was filed. Search for obtaining a death certificate. As in – CA +death certificates. It’s very easy. I’ve obtained dozens of them as a genealogist.
