Are Currier and Ives plates oven safe?
We just got a dish set of Currier and Ives by Royal and I can’t find anywhere online if they are oven safe. I know they are microwave and dishwasher safe but no website says whether or not they are oven safe. Please site your source too so I can verify. Thanks a lot!
if it doesn’t SAY oven safe on the dishes, then they are NOT oven safe….. the trend is to post what it can do rather than what it cannot do…..
just like pyrex says ‘oven temps no higher than 350 degrees”…. THOSE are oven safe, to that temp…. it says so, right on it…
besides, why would you even want to use fine china in the oven?…. I wouldn’t dare use this in the microwave even!…. and as for the dishwasher?.. no way!!….
