Civil War Chess Pieces: Resembles Real War

Both player has one king and queen, two rooks, knights, and bishops, and eight pawns. Both player in a game of chess has the goal of using the pieces to checkmate the opponent’s king. If a king is in check, it implies it is being attacked, but there is a transfer that will keep it protected, either by moving the king or a different piece to prevent the assault.
The squares on a chess board are organized in a pattern of alternating dark and light squares.
