All of the following are true about the Cherokee EXCEPT?

a. the Cherokee adopted farming and converted to Christrianity
b. the Cherokee had a written constitution and a form of government similar to that of the United States
c. Jackson sided with Cherokee against Georgia
d. in Worcester v. Georgia the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Cherokee
e. the Cherokee supported the Confederacy in the Civil War.

I have to disagree with the above answer. The correct answer to youir question is “c”. President Andrew Jackson definitely did not side with the Cherokee against the State of Georgia. The Supreme Court sided with the Cherokees. President Jackson was against the Cherokees. He enforced the Indian Removal Act of 1830 that forced them to give up their ancestral lands east of the Mississippi River. By the way the Cherokees did farm and did adopt Christianity. I hope that this has been a help to you.
