Black people:What would be your role if you were back in the times of the beginning of the Civil War in 1861?
Just imagine if you were back in those times,what role would or you think you would be in.Anyone historically you would like to meet?What things would you try to accomplish in those times such as trying to gain freedom or escape to the North such as the Underground Railroad.It can be based on anything as long if it has to do with that timeline.

Here is something my uncle always told me when I was in high school and in college studying history.
“The Black people today who claim that they would never have accepted being treated like crap are the same ones who would have been ratting, snitching, making tea, tap dancing, whipping slaves, the whole nine yards.”
“The same people talking like Nat Turner today are the ones who would have ratted out a 12 yr. old runaway in order to keep his house n igga standing with his master.”
At the age I’m at now and what I have seen through the years…I believe my uncle. The bottom line is that non of us know for sure what role we would have played. It takes super human courage to be Harriet Tubman or Frederick Douglas. How many of us have that power? Think about it.
