- Sectionalism
- Seccesion
- Election of Abe Lincoln
- Civil War its self

Start with the Library of Congress website. There, you can have free access to many source documents, such as research papers, letters and images of the period.
Once there, you can pick out subjects for further web searches into specific areas of study.
