Writers block on Andersonville Prison report! Help!?
This is what I have so far:
The Andersonville Prison, officially known as Camp Sumter was a confederate military prison during the Civil War. During the 14 months that the prison was active, more than 45,000 Union Soldiers were confined there. Of these almost 13,000 died from disease, poor sanitation, malnutrition, overcrowding, or exposure to the elements
That is what I have so far,,
This is a standard school report introductory paragraph 1 2 3, and then conclusion. But I am having writers block and I dont know how to start paragraph one after the introductory. I would appreciate if someone could give me a suggestion? Thank you.
After the first sentence, I would elaborate by adding where it was located, how big is was, what it was constructed of, etc. Then use sentence 2 that begins, “during” as your first sentence of your next paragraph. Then expand on the conditions at the prison, e.g., where there doctors, did the soldiers come in wouded, that kind of thing. Then talk about who ran the prison, how many men did they command, etc. Then your closing paragraph should say how the end came.
Why am I doing your homework?
