How a cartridge was produced?(the one that fires)?
How a cartridge was produced?
what is black powder?(is it actually a powder?)
During Civil War, did they put bullets in the powder and rapped with paper bag?
How many bullets are in a catridge?
i want to make a fake catridge for my project, what should i put in there?
(if i use salt instead of black powder, how much should i put?)
please give me some suggestion!!
Well, a “cartridge” is actually a bullet (you may be familiar with that concept) Think of a bullet you see with the point, the point is the piece that flies out when it is fired, the piece “on the bottom” if you were holding a bullet upwards, is the cartridge.
The Cartridge is filled with gunpowder, when it is fired in a gun it forces the bullet out and it goes out of the barrell. Search google images for “9mm Bullet.” You will see what I mean.
“Black Powder” is the early form of gunpowder. Just think of a pile of baby powder that is black, and when you touch flame to it, it bursts in to flames, burns out very fast, more like a flash.
In fact, before there were flashes for camera, the photographer would hold his camera up, and hold a small pile of black powder (flash powder) on a stand and light it as a flash for taking a picture. Not sure if this helps… =-)
