Civil War Populations

civil war populations
Where would the world be today if the populations had never beem thinned down by war?

What would the US population be if we had never had the civil war?

Did you know a simple medical procedure treating trauma injuries discovered in the Viet Nam war has saved more lives of people affedted by automobile accidents than we lost in Viet Nam!

Just guessing, but about the same place as far as population is concerned. The generation that had to fight WWII had more children than any before it or since, a huge population of “baby boomers” to make up for all lost in battle. Also your note regarding the technological advances arising out of the war industry also saved lives. I did not know about that. Populations are dependent on the resources available to support them. If many are killed, their will be room for the remaining population to expand.
