Do you think that the truth about going to war AGAINST Iraq will come out due to English whistleblowers ?
Seems like there are more high end British Civil servants than Americans willing to risk their jobs to tell the truth. They have a different system…they go into Foreign Service for a life career…perhaps using political appointees like we do does not get a more ethical diplomat??? Seems like there are more of them willing to risk all and threaten their jobs to tell the truth to the British citizens. Why don’t we have more people like that?
I know that Colin Powell’s Chief of staff has been testifying for years about the “untruths” but our people seem more afraid…Of course I know the Patriot Act made speaking out difficult but anyone on the public payroll knows they could lose their pension and benefits if they lie on the job! If they lie in public to us – anyway.
But by now, every reasonable being all over the world knows the truth about going to war against Iraq. To try to discover it now is to try to kiss the dead after he be burried. No need any longer – neither from the English whistleblowers. And don’t forget – it was not the UK that opened the war, that is possibly why the Britons feel more free to speak openly about, with a good deal of their population siding against the war – unlike the US population.
