If Hitler took LSD when he was an art student and became a Surrealist painter, would WW II have happened?
…or would Salvador Dali have gotten jealous and forsought art for Faschist poliitics, causing the Spanish Civil War to escalate across Europe?
It is still possible that the war happened because Hitler was not the sole protagonist within Germany. You have to remember that the German people were spoiling for a fight anyway because after the treaty of Versailles their economy went to crap and they had lost the Rhineland. I think it would have taken longer for the war to start but there were likely to be similar sets of circumstances.
