Alliance Guide – The Guide On The Alliance Faction

In the World Of Warcraft universe, two major political factions exist – the Alliance and the Horde. This Alliance guide will walk you through the details on the 5 major races comprising the Alliance faction.

The Horde and the Alliance are both split into 5 different races with the Alliance being comprised of the Draenei, Humans, Dwarves, Night Elves and Gnomes. The Horde, meanwhile, has the Blood Elves, the Orcs, the Tauren, the Trolls and the Undead.

{The Draenei}
The Draenei comprises of what remains of the uncorrupted Eredar, a magic-wielding class who once occupied the planet Argus. The Eredar lived in peace and built civilizations for countless years and only 25, 000 years ago did a new group of corrupted Eredar form in the planet – the Man’Ari, now leading the Burning Legion.

The Draenei, after years of struggle, swore allegiance to the powerful and enigmatic race called the Naaru who once helped them escape from the Man’Ari. Thus, the Draenei longs after nothing less than one day joining the Army of Light as the Naaru promised.

In general, the Draenei follows the path of the religious and magical professions of paladins, priests, shaman, and mage. Other available classes are Hunter, Warrior and Death Knight.

{The Humans}
In an ever-darkening World of Warcraft, the Humans are struggling to preserve their race and all things they hold important. They have faced the First and Second War and rallied their troops with the Alliance to win their home city, the Stormwind, and the Alliance homeland of Azeroth from invading dark forces. With the might, strength and valor of Sir Lothan and King Llane, the Humans are protecting and preserving their City of Stormwind – the last bastion of the human civilization. Because of their racial temperament, skills and natural inclinations, Humans usually turn into Warriors, Rogues and Death Knights, Mages, Priests, Paladins, and Warlocks.

{The Dwarves}
The mountains of Khaz Modan are the haven of the robust, stoic humanoids called the Dwarves. The past ages have seen the Dwarves as a solitary race consumed by their desire to perfect their metal and stone crafting skills. But when they are called to battle, the Dwarves are quick to respond with help to their friends and allies. Dwarves, armed with their unique valor and courage, often end up becoming Hunters, Priests, Paladins, Rogues, Death Knights and Warriors.

{The Night Elves}
The Night Elves are considered to be the first race to awaken in the World; they have been in existence 10, 000 years prior to the emergence of the Warcraft I. They are immortals who first delved into the study of magic and thereby the first who let it loose throughout the WoW Universe.

They have remained, as a people, cloistered in their holy mountain of Hyjal for many thousands of years, but are now awakened to once again help shape the world. Being the first born, so to speak, of the World, the Night Elves look at their mortal neighbors with distrust and condescension. Professions available to the Night Elves are Priests, Druids, Rogues, Hunters, Warriors, and Death Knights.

{The Gnomes}
The Gnomes are the most peculiar of all races in World of Warcraft. They are generally eccentric, brilliant, and are obsessed with developing new and rather radical technologies and mind-bending engineering. Depending on your Alliance guide, your Gnome can become a a Mage, a Warlock, a Rogue, a Warrior, or a Death Knight.
