How Often Should I Change The Urine Which I Store My Great Grandfathers Brass War Metals and Buttons?
My great grandfather fought in the american civil war (as well as a few others), when he passed away he left the medals he had won and the buttons (brass) he had warn into battle. For years and years, these memorabilia and treasured family relics have been dealt major neglect. i once heard that i should store these items in Urin to keep them from corroding and then preserved. How often should i change the Urin.
Urine? URINE?? I deal with brass in a major way and have never heard this. If you don’t want them to corrode just keep air away from them. Urine would do this, but so would a plastic ziplock or a jar.
