should the USA go back to the type of federalism before the civil war?
where the power of states and the federal government was clearly defined and both had their own “relm” of power? the layered cake model unlike today’s marble cake model where the powers of both the federal govt and state govt is mixed up.
i think that would solve a whole of of whining and crying today.
just let the separate states deal with issues by themselves.. like the healthcare debate.. why does the federal government need to be involved? i say leave it up to the states to institute the kind of healtcare they want.
We need States Rights back, it is much easier to get changes made on a State level.
