Why don’t they teach American kids the truth about the origins of the Civil War?
They’re taught that the Civil War was all about slavery – absolute rubbish!
Most intelligent people know that the war started because the Southern States felt they didn’t have a strong enough voice in government and they were being used by the Northern States.
Do you honestly think that a white man from the Northern States at the time would go off and fight and put his life in danger so that the slaves could be free?!
This sort of claptrap should be purged from the schoolbooks.
We all know the Civil War was all about power and the break up of the Union would have had disastrous consequences for the Northern States. Trying to dress it up by talking about slavery as being the main reason is just plain lunacy!

Why isn’t international geography taught properly.
