What to wear with civil war dress?
I have a light pink civil war dress and don’t know what to wear (jewelry? shoes?) and any help would be great thanks!

You’ll need a period-correct corset, chemise, petticoats, hoop-petticoat, stockings. For evening wear, Victorian ladies’ dance pumps looked a lot like ballet flats, or low, soft kid boots. Also you’ll need a fan, kid gloves or lace mitts, and a hair ornament and/or a snood.
For day wear, you need ankle-high shoes and a period-correct bonnet or hat.
