What is the difference between each avenger series?
I have always loved to read comic books but I am not familiar with the Marvel Universe. My friend recommended that I read Civil War and I thought it was amazing. I wanted future reads (I love tie-ins and crossovers) and I was wondering if anyone could help me.
What is the difference between the following comics:
New Avengers
Mighty Avengers
Avengers: Initiative
Avengers Illuminati
What order should I start reading them?
Can anyone help me?
Well if you read civil war then the chain of big events goes like this
*Avenger Disassembled->House of M->Civil War->World War Hulk->Secret Invasion->Dark Reign
*New Avengers-Team of renegade avengers who seceded from the regular avengers team during the civil war.
*Mighty Avengers- Official team of avengers during the civil war and led by iron man, but that changes after secret invasion.
*Avengers:Initiative- A program begun by iron man to train young heroes and have 50 Avengers teams each occupying a different state.
*Avengers Illuminati- An organization of leaders in the superhuman community. Iron man from the avengers, Prof. X from X-Men, Blackbolt from Inhumans, Dr. Strange, Mr Fantastic, and Namor
*Dark Avengers- You missed this one its the new avengers team made up of villains and led by Iron Patriot.
