Civil war food such as (cabbage stew, beef jerky,)?
I need to know for a project that I am doing what was good about, cabbage stew? beef jerky? crawdads? and hardtack? what was some disadvantages? It doesn’t matter if its back then or now, whats good about these food? more energy? better stamina? ect… just give me it all. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I KNOW WHAT THEY ATE I NEED TO KNOW WHY THEY ATE WHAT THEY DID! And what did it improve? Like eyesight? or what? And how was it transported, that kind of stuff, i obviously already know what they ate, thanks for pointing it out again to me though.
