Dress idea for ball in two hours?
Okay, so they’re doing the civil war reanactment where i live and tonight is the ball. I can’t go out and buy a gown buit i want to look nice is there a trick to making a dress poof without the hoop skirt? And is there and seguestions on making a dress, it doesn’t have to fit the era…. I only have two dresses and neither of them really fit the theme, and i don’t want to look like goof. Please help, and don’t tell me i’m stupid. I have to leave for the ball in an hour in a half.

a hula hoop put in the hem will make it resemble period dress
if you have a vest.put it over the dress. If you dress that u have are short. a quick trick 2 attach length use a sheet so ur own dress would be overshirt and sheet would b hoop…good luck
