1. Musketballs fired by the opposing sides that apparently collided in midflight and fused together.
2. Muskets recovered from the battlefield with more than one load of powder and ball?
I heard about the first one on an episode of Mythbusters (episode 67). They concluded that it is “plausible” for the musketballs to fuse.
